SRX17531995: Illumina sequencing of Giardia duodenalis: isolate P424
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2000) run: 1.4M spots, 686.7M bases, 423.4Mb downloads

Design: Dual-indexed paired-end libraries were constructed using Nextera Library Prep kit (Illumina) from fragmented DNA. Average sample length of libraries was approximately 600-1000 bp
Submitted by: Robert Koch-Institut
Study: Generation of highly contiguous genomes of Giardia duodenalis isolates
show Abstracthide Abstract
High-quality genome data sets for Giardia duodenalis are scarce. Here, we generated highly contiguous genomes by a hybrid PacBio/Illumina sequencing approach of four assemblage A (one AI from a cat, and three AII from humans) and five assemblage B isolates (from humans) derived by axenic culture from clinical samples.
Sample: Host was Homo sapiens
